The Embedded Hardware Academy is designed to provide a hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of embedded hardware development, from concept to prototype. During a five-week course, you will work on the development of an electronic product. After development, you will have a chance to assemble and test the prototype, to verify that its functionality complies with the technical specification. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our hardware engineers, gaining valuable insights and practical skills that will enrich your academic and professional journey.

Who can apply? 

Anyone who is passionate about hardware development and eager to gain practical experience in a supportive and dynamic environment. Motivation is the most important aspect; no work experience is required. However, bonus points are awarded for:

• Understanding basic electrical principles Experience with practical embedded electronics 
• Experience in electrical CAD tools (Altium Designer, KiCAD or similar) 
• PCB design experience 
• Experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other lab equipment

• Byte Lab Library Drafting standards and training 
• System architecture design 
• Mixed signal system design 
• RF design 
• Power supply design

• Manufacturing documentation release

• Design verification (including the report) 

Timeline

The Byte Lab Embedded Hardware Academy timeline spans from May to September and includes application, application processing, interviews, participant selection, and the five-week program.
