We’re hiring a Junior Technical Support Specialist!

Farseer is a fast-growing startup building an enterprise software stack from first principles. We aim to become the underlying database and operating system for every business-critical app—from financial planning and analytics to accounting and beyond. Farseer empowers humans to build beautiful enterprise software with the help of AI.

Over the next decade, we’ll rebuild the enterprise nervous system. We’re starting with finance: a real-time, collaborative planning and reporting platform that turns finance teams from backward-looking number-crunchers into proactive strategists. Once that foundation is solid, the same AI-native core will extend to the rest of a company’s operational stack—reporting, supply chain management, manufacturing, procurement, revenue ops, you name it.

We’re looking for a Junior Technical Support Specialist who’s curious, organized, and not afraid to dive into the unknown. You don’t need to know everything—we’ll teach you what you don’t yet know. But you do need to bring sharp thinking, a love for problem-solving, and interest in both business and tech.

This role sits between product, implementation, and support—perfect for someone who’s into finance, data, software, or ideally, all three.

What you’ll do:

• Help our customers and internal teams when something doesn’t work as expected
• Test the Farseer platform—manually—before new features go live
• Reproduce bugs, write clear steps, and help product & engineering fix them fast
• Keep support documentation and help center clean and useful
• Learn how our product works and start building the skills to become the go-to person for “why is this breaking?”
• Assist consultants during customer onboarding—help prep data, test setups, and learn how real implementations work

You might be a great fit if:

• You’re currently studying economics, finance, controlling, IT, or business analysis
• You like logic puzzles, Excel formulas, and figuring things out
• You’re organized, reliable, and ask great follow-up questions
• You’re not afraid of numbers, software tools, or a bit of technical language
• You speak and write English confidently

Bonus (but not required):

• Experience with any planning, reporting, or ERP tools (even in the univeristy)
• You’ve done QA testing or bug hunting before
• You’ve worked with data or dashboards
• You understand what P&L, balance sheet or cash flow mean—even roughly

This role is not for you if:

• You get frustrated easily when you can’t immediately solve something
• You expect clear-cut answers all the time
• You want to stay away from spreadsheets, bugs, or problem-solving
