ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a technology enthusiast who has a great passion for finance and controlling?

We are FRAMOS, a global high-tech company with over 180 employees. Our biggest team is based in Croatia, and we are looking for a motivated controller to join our team. This role is perfect for recent graduates looking to kick start their career, or for those with 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, ready to advance to the next level.

You will report to the Controlling and FP&A Lead based in Munich, working closely with various departments. As our production team is based in Čakovec, having an interest in production-related controlling would be a plus. Additionally, you will enhance your experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will analyze production and product costs and consistently identify potential for improvement
• You will analyze the project costs of our customer solution orders and discuss them with the stakeholders
• You will analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• You will prepare financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to help with decision-making and planning to support company goals
• You will compare actual performance against targets and provide insights for improvements
• You will monitor budget adherence, identify deviations, and suggest corrective actions when needed
• You will act as a financial advisor, offering insights and guidance on key initiatives, projects, and investments
• You will analyze cost structures and drivers to identify ways to optimize costs and improve efficiency
• You will collaborate with colleagues from various departments to track cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service levels

The role can be based in either Zagreb or Čakovec, with the possibility of working from home a few days per week.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics or Economics
• You are either a recent graduate or have a few years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
• You have strong technical skills in controlling and accounting
• You are customer-service-oriented with excellent communication abilities
• You are familiar with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Navision
• You are fluent in English and Croatian
